Technical documentation for the Liadur noise barriers

This project addresses the technical implementation of the Liadur noise barriers. This type of noise barriers is characterized by the variability in any combinations of three basic components, namely:

• foundations, columns, wall panels

The technical project is designed for the assembly conditions which are directly linked to the production rules for the production of concrete noise barrier panels, for the manufacture of reinforced concrete foundation cups and for the manufacture of reinforced concrete columns used for the noise barriers.

Acoustic parameters of the Liadur noise barriers:

In terms of sound insulation the panels are classified as highly sound proof and in terms of absorption the panels are classified in the category of “high absorptive barriers”. The value of sound absorption depends on the varying thickness and shape of the absorption layer’s surface.
